Our Story

Founded in 2002, Samtech Instruments - formerly known as Jyoti Scientific & Electrical Works under the brand JAYSEE - has grown into one of India's leading manufacturers of educational meters, renewable energy kits, and STEM & astronomy equipment.

Based in Ambala Cantt, Haryana - India's hub for scientific instrument manufacturing - we design and build laboratory equipment trusted by schools, colleges, and institutions across the country and beyond.

What began as a small workshop building basic electrical meters has, over two decades, become a full-scale manufacturing operation spanning two industrial units. Through every stage of that growth, our focus has stayed the same: making science tangible. We believe a student who can hold a working motor, wire a live circuit, or watch a pendulum trace its arc understands physics in a way no textbook diagram can teach.

Today our catalogue covers more than 350 kits across physics, magnetism, light and optics, sound and waves, astronomy, solar and renewable energy - each one built in-house, tested for classroom durability, and aligned with the CBSE and NCERT curriculum.

Our Mission

We exist to put real, working science into the hands of every student in India - not just the ones in well-funded city schools. Hands-on equipment should not be a luxury. By manufacturing directly and selling without middlemen, we keep quality high and prices within reach of government schools, rural institutions, and large districts placing bulk orders alike.

Our goal is simple: when a child's first encounter with a scientific principle is something they can touch and operate themselves, curiosity takes root - and that curiosity is what builds the engineers, doctors, and researchers of tomorrow.

Who We Serve

For over twenty years we have supplied schools, colleges, universities, coaching institutes, and government education departments across India. We work equally with single-school orders and large institutional tenders, and we support resellers and distributors with consistent stock and trade pricing.

We are also proud partners to NGOs and corporate CSR initiatives. From equipping science labs in under-resourced government and rural schools to supplying STEM kits for education outreach programmes, we help organisations turn their CSR budgets into real, hands-on learning for students who need it most. Our in-house manufacturing means we can scale to large CSR rollouts while keeping costs efficient and reporting transparent.
